Swiss ML112 (Valjoux 7750) automatic clockwork

Sapphire glass
Sapphire is up to 7 times harder than steel, and surpassed only by diamonds on the Mohs scale. This makes sapphire glass a great protection for your watch.
Date display
The date is shown on the display.
Super Luminova
This watch's pointers are coated with Super Luminova pigment (not radioactive), that gives up to 10 times more effect than conventional pigmentation.
Calf leather strap
An exclusive strap made of high quality calf leather.
Case made of stainless steel.
Waterproof: 600 meters (60 bar)
Rated to handle 60 bar ( = 600 meters), which means that this watch can be used while swimming and diving. Please note that the 600 meters are not equal to actual depth of water. The value refers to the air pressure used in the test for water resistance (ISO 2281), and the pressure when the enviroment is dynamic - is much higher.
Condensation - important!
Rapid changes in temperature fluctuations could prevent a negative pressure in the watch, which could cause condensation. If this would occur, you would start to see drops beneath the glass. Immediately go to a watchmaker to have the case opened and dried. Even if the signs of moisture disappears by itself, the moisture won't disappear - and it would eventually cause damage to the clockwork. Waterproof keeps water, not moisture, out. Moisture isn't supposed to get into watches, but... the extreme difference in temperatures between an operating sauna and a cold winter's day, could surely be a cause for it. Condensation could be a manufacturing defect, but usually it happens because of the high fluctuations between really hot and really cold temperatures... and in this case, not covered by warranties.

How is the size of the watch measured?
The diameter
The common term is diameter, but since not all watches have circular watch cases, the diameter is actually the width measured from left to right. Note that some manufacturers include the crown (to set the clock) and the buttons when measuring the width, but we try to standardize all the watches by not including the crown as part of the measured width.

The thickness - or height of the watch in profile - is indicated by measuring the watch from top to bottom as illustrated below. By comparison, a 1-euro coin is 2.33 millimeters thick.
One usually defines the watches with these numbers:
Slim: 4-6 millimeter
Normal: 6-12 millimeter
Big: 12-14 millimeter
Oversize: 14-18 millimeter
