This model has a quality motor from Japanese Mabuchi, and it offers 4 different programs (please, see "Details" further down on this side, for a closer description of the programs).
Besides the default "cable-powered" charging (EU-connection), this particular model can also be driven by 2 AA batteries (which you have to provide for yourself - they are not included). We have been appointed as an official reseller. Watchia only sells genuine products!
4 available programs
This model gives you 4 different programs to choose between:
1. 3 minutes in clockwise direction followed by 28 minutes of pause. Automatic repetition.
2. 3 minutes in anti-clockwise direction, followed by 28 minutes of pause. Automatic repetition.
3. 3 minutes in clockwise direction, pause for 10 minutes... followed by 3 minutes in anti-clockwise direction and pause for 10 minutes. Automatic repetition.
4. Clockwise for 10 minutes followed by 10 minutes in anti-clockwise direction. This is repeated 3 times (for 1 hour). 4 hours of pause completes this cycle (a total of 5 hours), which will then restart/repeat.
Scaleable
You can connect several Alpern watch winder together, for using only one unit's power supply.
Possible to run by batteries
Besides the included power cord (EU-connection), it could also be driven by 2 batteries (2 x AA, not included).

How is the size of the watch measured?
The diameter
The common term is diameter, but since not all watches have circular watch cases, the diameter is actually the width measured from left to right. Note that some manufacturers include the crown (to set the clock) and the buttons when measuring the width, but we try to standardize all the watches by not including the crown as part of the measured width.
The thickness - or height of the watch in profile - is indicated by measuring the watch from top to bottom as illustrated below. By comparison, a 1-euro coin is 2.33 millimeters thick.
One usually defines the watches with these numbers:
Slim: 4-6 millimeter
Normal: 6-12 millimeter
Big: 12-14 millimeter
Oversize: 14-18 millimeter
